Surf Ranking - How It Works

First of all, our ranking system is NOT based off of playtime or maps completed. It's all about SKILL!

Points can be obtained in the following ways:

  • Completing Maps
    • Extra Points
      • 100 Extra Points for beating a map for the first time.
      • 15 Extra Points for beating your Personal Map Record (PR).
    • Improving your time and decreasing your rank.
    • Points awarded based on the time of the user compared to other players.
    • Placing with a Top 20 Time. - Additional Points Awarded
  • Completing Bonuses

Points can be lost in the following ways:

  • Having your time beaten by other players.

The total points that a player will gain per map can be calculated using the following formula:

(Map Rank Percentage * 200) + (Extra Points * 2) + (Bonus Rank Percentage * 200) + Rank 1-20 Points

NOTICE: Points are refreshed upon map completion, so awarded points may appear to be lower than the actual amount awarded.

Surf Ranking - Panel Overview

  1. Player - Username
  2. Player - SteamID
  3. Player - Nationality
  4. Player - Last-Seen Date
  5. Player - Server Rank
  6. Server - Lowest Rank
  7. Server - Total Clients
  8. Player - Total Points
  9. Player - Rank Group
  10. Player - Points Until Next Group
  11. Player - Next Group Name
  12. Player - Maps Completed
  13. Server - Total Maps
  14. Player - Total Server WRs
  15. Player - Prints the PB to chat.
  16. Player - Prints the challenge history to console.
  17. Player - Prints the finished maps to console.
  18. Player - Prints the unfinished maps to console.
  19. Player - Refreshes the client's points total.
  20. Player - Exits the rank panel.

Surf Ranking - Group Requirements

The points required to reach the below ranks will be updated as new maps are added, or maps are removed from the servers.
